Charcoal making, faggot making, craftwork, path clearance, an occasional visit from a horse-logger, supporting the College at events. Best of all fresh air communing with the natural world and enjoying good company so do come along and join us.
The college also educates its members and volunteers in developing their own skills, such as green woodworking, coppice practice and hedgelaying. It is the college’s practice to teach the use of hand tools such as axes, bow saws, draw knives and billhooks. Wood is turned on a pole lathe.
