On this 4 day craft course students will discover the benefits of using ‘green wood’ rather than sawn, kiln dried timber from a sawmill. Join our experienced instructors and find out how to cleave the green wood using traditonal methods. You will then shape the parts using a shave horse, a draw knife, chisels, and a pole lathe and finally you will bring the parts together to construct a traditional 3 legged stool.

The skills and methods used during this serve as a strong foundation for learning spoon carving, gate making and most greenwood crafts.

Why not join us in March at our fabulous workshop in the woods and discover the magic of green woodworking?
